This page describes the website analytics currently used by Inside Assurance. It is intended to make the measurement visible to readers.
Website activity
To understand readership, the site records page views, engagement after time on a page and scrolling, toolkit downloads, and clicks to our LinkedIn page. Analytics events include the page path, a device category, a traffic source, a pseudonymous visitor identifier and a session identifier.
Contact messages
When you send a message, we store your name, email address, message topic and message so the site owner can review and respond. These details are available in the protected admin inbox, not in public content. When the site owner connects Gmail and confirms a reply, the website can send it through the Inside Assurance Gmail account. Google processes that email. The website requests email identity and send permission; it does not read the Gmail mailbox. Please avoid confidential business information or sensitive personal data.
Retention & removal requests
Contact messages and reply history remain in the protected inbox until the owner removes them. The website does not currently apply an automatic deletion period. To request removal, email hello.insideassurance@gmail.com from the address used for your message. The owner can verify the request and remove the stored conversation; email copies in Gmail are handled separately.
Open learning maps
Learning maps do not record completion or save a learning position in your browser or an account. A stage link identifies the page you choose to open, not a saved learning record. Legacy learning-progress data from the earlier version is removed when you visit. General website analytics and optional saved reading are described separately in this policy.
Saved reading
Saved article and toolkit links stay in local storage on your device. They are not synced to a user account. Clearing browser data removes the list.
Browser storage
A first-party visitor cookie lasts up to 90 days. Session storage holds a session identifier and traffic source during your browsing session. The site does not run this analytics code in the admin area and respects a browser’s Do Not Track setting.
